Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in financial planning & analysis in a SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance related field.
- Strong financial and business modeling skills with experience in building financial models.
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Suite of products, most specifically Excel and Sheets.
- Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent project and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure within short time constraints in a complex, high-growth organization.
- Ability to pivot and successfully adapt in a constantly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage annual budgets and forecasts for R&D departments including Engineering, Product, Support, and InfoSec.
- Perform detailed variance analysis comparing actual Opex to budget and forecast, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and track functional and AWS spending to ensure alignment with budget.
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track Opex efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual Opex summaries.
- Support the financial close process by providing accurate and timely Opex data.
- Collaborate with department leads and leadership to align financial activities with strategic goals.
