Requirements
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
- Passion for West Virginia and Generation WV's mission.
- Must reside in the State of West Virginia.
- Experience using Canva and Google Workspace (preferred).
- WordPress or website management experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (preferred).
- Photography and videography skills (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Write engaging social media posts, newsletters, blogs, and website content.
- Interview program participants and alumni to develop success stories.
- Plan and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Design graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for promotional campaigns.
- Assist with website updates and email marketing campaigns.
- Provide on-site communications and social media coverage for events.
- Track and report on social media and email marketing performance.
