Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously.
- Understanding of insurance compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
- Strong research skills and internet proficiency.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
- Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
- Stable wired internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
Responsibilities
- Assist members through phone, email, and other communication channels with insurance quotes, new policies, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications.
- Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs, asking effective questions, and providing accurate solutions.
- Process insurance transactions including endorsements, cancellations, and coverage changes while following compliance requirements and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to research issues, resolve customer concerns, and provide timely information.
- Maintain required insurance certifications and continuously expand product knowledge.
- Achieve performance goals related to service quality, response times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage multiple applications and communication tools while maintaining organization in a remote environment.
