Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to be licensed and appointed by assigned client in all operating jurisdictions.
- Minimum one year of telemarketing or appointment setting experience.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience solving problems.
- Minimum one year of experience in an office setting using telephone or computer as primary tools.
- Strong consultative service and/or sales background.
- Proficiency with Internet, Windows applications (Word, Excel), and email (Outlook).
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask across multi-functional work.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and handle varying types of inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing phone calls focused on customer service and sales.
- Uncover member concerns, present solutions, and process enrollment applications.
- Overcome member objections and transition between scripted elements effectively.
- Obtain, enter, and verify member information in assigned systems.
- Resolve member issues and escalate complex situations to supervisors as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer data and assigned system information.
- Maintain all required insurance licensing and continuing education credits.
