Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to be licensed and appointed by assigned client in all operating jurisdictions.
- Minimum one year of telemarketing, appointment setting, or office-based customer service experience.
- Strong consultative service and sales background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple communication channels including phone, email, chat, and paper.
- Command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for understanding and articulating complex insurance details.
- Ability to adapt to new processes rapidly and multitask.
- Demonstrated active listening, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.
Responsibilities
- Process various incoming and outgoing phone calls for assigned clients and programs.
- Uncover member concerns, present solutions, and process enrollment applications.
- Overcome member objections and assist with plan modifications, updates, and clarifications.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information accessed within assigned systems.
- Handle member inquiries and escalate situations outside of direct control to a supervisor.
- Maintain all required insurance licensing and complete continued education requirements.
