Requirements

  • 2+ years of insurance industry experience or 5+ years of related customer service experience.
  • Required active insurance licensing.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage practices and client needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing day-to-day activities of team support staff and account assistants.
  • Handle policy processing tasks including endorsements, audits, cancellations, invoices, and certificates.
  • Identify and reconcile billing inaccuracies and prepare insurance proposals and submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data within agency systems.
  • Monitor activities to ensure the timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.
  • Keep the account team informed of workload status and provide proactive customer service.
