Requirements
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Sciences, or a related field required.
- 7+ years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or faculty development.
- 5+ years of experience working in higher education environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Canvas LMS and enterprise learning technologies.
- Experience developing multimedia learning assets using Articulate Storyline, Rise, H5P, Camtasia, and Canva.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, curriculum development, and instructional design methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards including ADA, WCAG, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Ability to leverage generative AI tools to improve learning design processes.
- Strong project management, facilitation, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Doctoral degree in a related discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct learning needs assessments, performance analyses, and stakeholder consultations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and develop diverse faculty learning experiences including workshops, microcredentials, and online learning solutions.
- Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to translate educational goals into evidence-based experiences.
- Create engaging digital content using Canvas and instructional design best practices.
- Develop comprehensive instructional materials, including facilitator guides and multimedia assets.
- Apply adult learning theory, UDL, and accessibility standards to all learning solutions.
- Leverage educational technologies and AI tools to prototype and refine innovative learning experiences.
- Analyze learning analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement of programs.
- Manage multiple strategic projects to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
