Requirements
- 5+ years of professional product design experience with senior-level scope on high-impact projects.
- Experience designing for fintech, payments, or financial services products.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership: problem framing, exploration, and shipped outcomes.
- Ability to drive projects forward independently in ambiguous environments.
- Working fluency with AI tools in design processes like prototyping and research synthesis.
- Experience working within and improving design systems at scale.
- Hands-on research experience, including recruiting participants and synthesizing findings.
- Track record of close collaboration with PM and Engineering through to shipping.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Professional working proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design across the full platform from mobile to desktop with focus on card, payment, and spend management flows.
- Own projects end-to-end: framing problems, exploring solutions, shipping with engineering, and measuring outcomes.
- Elevate craft and consistency by identifying UX debt and driving systematic fixes.
- Promote product vision through design exploration, documentation, and leadership presentations.
- Use AI tools for generative exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, and documentation.
- Apply fintech domain expertise to design for complex financial products and AI-powered features.
- Plan and conduct independent research, including participant recruiting and synthesis.
- Partner daily with product managers, engineers, and researchers to influence team operations.
