Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (accounting or finance preferred).
- 1-3 years of combined experience in financial analysis or accounting.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Very high attention to detail and ownership over work.
- Ability to draw upon insights and tell a compelling story involving business metrics.
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated core values: Humility, Innovation, and a Drive for Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial statement variance analyses comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and historical trends.
- Contribute to the Company’s rolling forecasts, annual operating plan, and long-range projections.
- Analyze and report on key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, retention) to support monthly forecasting and reporting.
- Calculate incentive compensation (commissions, sales bonuses) on a monthly basis and provide insights into how to streamline the process.
- Execute key month- and quarter-end close activities, preparing accurate reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and tools to control data integrity and alignment between systems.
- Identify and execute process improvements, including ways to leverage AI to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
