Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Demonstrable proficiency in automated testing, API testing, and accessibility testing.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS and Power BI.
- Advanced T-SQL skills for testing ETL processes, KPIs, metrics, and reports.
- Proven ability to design and execute test strategies from technical specifications and source-to-target mappings.
- Experience cataloging defects with clear and actionable detail.
- Experience presenting technical and business value to client stakeholders.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong alignment with Praxent's core values.
Responsibilities
- Ensure team understanding of acceptance criteria and track daily progress to meet sprint commitments.
- Perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications to identify edge cases and assess risks.
- Develop and document testing plans, including risk mitigation strategies and best practices.
- Mentor peers and junior team members through ad-hoc collaboration and structured code reviews.
- Act as a technical SME during sprints to prioritize testing efforts and guide development.
- Conduct recruiting interviews and analyze candidates for team expansion.
- Present testing plans, metrics, and insights during sprint reviews to client stakeholders.
