Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Cloud Consultant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of core Microsoft Azure services (Virtual Machines, Storage, Networks, RBAC, SQL, Functions, Data Factory, AKS).
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A consultative mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in agile, client-facing environments with autonomy.
  • Ability to commute to London occasionally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to design best-practice cloud solutions on Azure.
  • Implement and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Architect foundational cloud services for modern data platforms and machine learning environments.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
  • Provide operational support and maintenance for client cloud environments.
  • Enforce cloud security, cost management, and governance policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
