Requirements
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong experience building a culture of automation, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working within a service provider or managed service environment delivering 24x7 services.
- Strong understanding of multi-datacentre architecture, WAN connectivity, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing change management, problem management, and SLA/KPI reporting.
- Solid understanding of security technologies, compliance, and platform resilience.
- Experience collaborating with service operations, product management, and sales.
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
- Experience with OpenStack networking and Linux-based networking technologies (desirable).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, RHCE, or equivalent (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, engineering, and lifecycle of cloud platforms and services.
- Lead Cloud Engineering and Network teams to ensure delivery of scalable, secure infrastructure.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, standardization, and modern operating models.
- Maintain accountability for multi-tenant cloud platforms and lead the transition to open-source technologies.
- Manage network engineering and datacentre strategy across all facilities.
- Own the strategy and operation of all engineering and business-critical enterprise tooling.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and commercial performance.
