Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting.
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience building 0-to-1, such as launching a new partnership category or entering a new market.
- Background combining at least two of: consulting/structured problem-solving, BD/sales execution, or early-stage startup operating experience.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate large partner organizations independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present a complex deal structure simply and credibly to an executive audience.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the partnerships pipeline for Jerry's new product lines, from initial outreach through signed agreement and successful onboarding.
- Lead insurance carrier and partner conversations independently - qualifying partner fit, understanding partner needs, structuring the right value proposition, and closing deals.
- Design creative deal structures for partners who do not fit a standard path.
- Own partner success post-close, working with internal teams to ensure new partners ramp, stay engaged, and build long-term relationships.
- Contribute to vertical strategy, using ground-level feedback from partners to inform product sequencing and structuring.
