Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role such as forward deployed engineering or technical product management at a fast-paced startup.
- Proven track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
- Systems thinking ability, with comfort diving into technical conversations about API design and system architecture.
- Proficiency with SQL and ability to dive into data to validate hypotheses.
- Strong passion for and understanding of AI systems, including modern LLMs.
- Demonstrated experience as an experimenter who tinkers with new AI capabilities and workflows.
- Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example in implementing AI platform standards.
- Experience translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategy for migrating prompts from six locations onto a unified platform and drive execution.
- Own the technical prioritization queue for the customer-facing chatbot.
- Track emerging technologies like voicebot and computer use to inform AI investment decisions.
- Manage the OpenAI relationship and Jerry’s presence in the ChatGPT store.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to align on architectural plans.
- Analyze data to answer technical questions, validate hypotheses, and resolve bottlenecks.
