Requirements
- Proven success managing technical products, particularly in infrastructure, platform, or observability.
- Demonstrated experience shipping software products from idea to release.
- Strong technical understanding of databases, cloud-native, and modern infrastructure.
- Experience working cross-functionally across engineering, design, and marketing teams.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into product strategy.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and making decisions with incomplete information.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for PMM, ensuring alignment with Percona's product vision.
- Work directly with customers and the open source community to identify challenges and validate product opportunities.
- Translate customer problems into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Documentation, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver features.
- Define success metrics and use usage data to guide iterative product decisions.
- Represent PMM through blog posts, webinars, conferences, and community engagement.
