Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, insights, or related fields.
  • Required experience within the pharmacy benefits management industry.
  • Proven ability to build and lead market intelligence programs, processes, and teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience identifying market trends, competitive opportunities, business risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling executive-level presentations and narratives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to translate complex research findings into clear recommendations and business actions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent project management and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of market and competitive intelligence strategies, including frameworks, processes, governance, and communication models.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage diverse intelligence sources to strengthen understanding of competitors, market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Expand research capabilities to provide timely insights on industry developments, competitive movements, and market dynamics.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional collaboration channels to collect, share, and leverage internal knowledge across the organization.
  • Develop and manage a team focused on expanding intelligence capabilities, research depth, and strategic impact.
  • Conduct proprietary research and analysis to support strategic planning, opportunity assessment, and business decisions.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and competitive landscapes to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Create intelligence roadmaps focused on priority themes, strategic questions, and evolving market needs.
  • Partner with leadership, strategy, marketing, product, business development, and account management teams to strengthen positioning and competitive advantage.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic narratives.
