Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, editing, and communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing practices, including SEO, social media, analytics, website management, and content strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong creative problem-solving skills and the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ownership mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and strong administrative and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, mission, and growth priorities.
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, tone, and visual standards across all communication channels to create a consistent and compelling identity.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies across digital platforms, social media, email, SEO, website content, print materials, conferences, and events.
  • Oversee website strategy, content development, analytics, and continuous optimization to improve engagement and reach.
  • Build and manage public relations initiatives, including media outreach, press releases, executive communications, thought leadership content, and crisis communication planning.
  • Create and oversee storytelling initiatives that highlight the experiences of individuals, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Manage internal communications efforts that support employee engagement, culture, organizational updates, and change initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, customer service, government relations, product, and implementation teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and develop marketing and communications team members while managing external agencies, freelancers, vendors, budgets, and timelines.
  • Analyze performance data, campaign results, brand awareness metrics, and audience insights to provide recommendations and improve marketing effectiveness.
