Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Security Engineering, Application Security, Cloud Security, or related domains.
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation strategies.
- Strong understanding of application security principles, secure coding practices, and code security methodologies.
- Experience identifying security risks across software applications, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD environments.
- Working knowledge of security best practices across major cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
- Practical experience securing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security tooling, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, vulnerability management, and security monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of compliance and governance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and enterprise security standards.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead security initiatives across infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and enterprise deployments to ensure a strong and resilient security posture.
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Assess and remediate security weaknesses across codebases, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strengthen data protection measures through encryption strategies, identity and access management controls, secure hosting practices, and comprehensive audit logging.
- Establish and promote secure software development practices, integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Drive compliance initiatives and support certification efforts related to frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and machine learning teams to embed security best practices into products and operational processes.
- Support audit activities, security reviews, and governance processes while continuously improving organizational security standards and capabilities.
