Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, test automation, or testing tools development.
- Strong programming skills in Java with practical experience building automation frameworks, libraries, and developer tools.
- Experience writing maintainable automation code using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, REST Assured, Karate, Postman, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating testing solutions with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, GitLab, or SonarQube.
- Familiarity with test management, reporting, and analytics tools including Jira, Qmetry, ReportPortal, Allure Reports, ExtentReports, or Grafana.
- Experience working with device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest for web and mobile validation.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL), non-relational databases (NoSQL), and messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and event-driven or asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based testing environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced testing frameworks, automation platforms, and reusable tooling solutions supporting multiple applications and environments.
- Build scalable test harnesses, libraries, plugins, and command-line tools to improve test execution, reporting, and integration workflows.
- Develop robust automation scripts and solutions using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript to streamline testing processes.
- Integrate testing tools with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, artifact repositories, and development workflows.
- Customize and extend open-source testing solutions to support functional, UI, API, mobile, performance, and security testing needs.
- Build and maintain integrations with testing ecosystems, including test management platforms, reporting tools, analytics solutions, and device testing platforms.
- Support containerized testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes to improve scalability and consistency.
- Collaborate with QE, SRE/DevOps, and engineering teams to identify testing challenges and deliver effective tooling solutions.
