Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum 1+ years of teaching experience in math or experience working in a college-level tutoring center.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Access to reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
- Mastery of SAT and ACT Math subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics.
- Robust understanding of classroom pedagogy.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Instruct small core groups of students in math skills to promote long-term understanding and high scores on the ACT and SAT.
- Track student progress through the multi-phase curriculum and engage students in individualized growth opportunities.
- Maintain and update student lesson schedules on the online platform and hold students accountable for assignments.
- Spearhead the development and creative execution of evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
- Mentor middle and high school students with empathy through the competitive college application process.
