Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field.
- 1+ years of teaching experience in math or experience working in a college-level tutoring center.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Mastery of SAT and ACT Math subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics.
Responsibilities
- Instruct small core groups of students in math skills to promote long-term understanding and college readiness exam success.
- Track student progress through the institution's multi-phase curriculum.
- Engage students in individualized growth and improvement opportunities.
- Model professionalism by maintaining and updating student lesson schedules and holding students accountable.
- Develop and execute creative lesson plans and curriculum.
- Mentor middle and high school students through the college application process.
