Requirements
- 6+ years of experience leading social strategy and managing owned channels for a consumer brand (beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG preferred)
- Proven experience working at a brand recognized for strong social storytelling and cultural relevance
- Native proficiency in TikTok and Instagram with an understanding of evolving platform behavior
- Experience building social strategies and reporting frameworks from scratch
- Hands-on experience aligning organic and paid social teams
- Demonstrated ability to write effective creative briefs
- Proven experience managing agencies and external partners
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively alongside creative leadership
- Proven ability to translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations
- Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with a focus on online culture
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Starface’s social media and platform strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Lead the social content calendar and ensure content aligns with strategic goals
- Develop actionable creative briefs to guide and inspire high-quality creative output
- Partner with creative leadership to ensure strategy enhances the creative process
- Define and refine platform-specific playbooks, KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks
- Monitor performance, translate insights into recommendations, and drive improvement
- Align organic and paid social efforts through consistent sharing of learnings and collaboration
- Manage external agency partners to ensure high-quality strategic output and execution
- Lead, mentor, and support two direct reports while elevating the social function
