Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent business/vocational qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or GxP-regulated environment.
  • Proven success selling complex service solutions to senior decision-makers.
  • Experience with insourcing, outsourcing, managed services, or laboratory services.
  • Strong understanding of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and testing needs.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills.
  • Ability to influence across functions and build strong internal and external networks.
  • Strategic mindset paired with hands-on commercial drive.
  • High energy, resilience, and a passion for winning new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of business development activities across Germany and Austria.
  • Build and execute winning sales strategies that deliver measurable growth and expand our regional footprint.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities from first contact to contract signature.
  • Develop deep relationships with senior stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and related industries.
  • Translate client needs into tailored PSS service solutions that deliver value.
  • Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contracting processes.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and global teams to maximize cross-selling.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM-compliant reporting.
  • Represent Eurofins PSS at industry events and client meetings.
