Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in the Hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease space.
  • Deep understanding of high-density data center solutions.
  • Prior Hyperscale Account Management experience in the data center vertical.
  • Proven track record of building business strategy, partner enablement, and creating measurable metrics.
  • Successful business development and sales experience with Hyperscale Providers.
  • Disciplined in the use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking.
  • Technical understanding of data center infrastructure, high-density compute, networking, and cloud connectivity.
  • Strong consultative capability and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage high-level activity.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully prospect new opportunities.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy.
  • Conduct account planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management for existing Hyperscale customers.
  • Leverage sales through partnerships, including indirect channel partners, referrals, and carrier relationships.
  • Participate in trade shows and hyperscale-focused networking events.
  • Build and implement account plans and marketing plans to drive new business.
  • Document and maintain customer contact plans and progress of contracts and revenue opportunities.
