Requirements
- 10 or more years leading AI, machine learning, data science, or adjacent technical teams.
- Proven track record setting technological strategy in a fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on fluency with modern AI and data science to scope work and evaluate quality.
- Working knowledge of production ML, MLOps, evaluation, and AI systems lifecycle.
- Familiarity with large language models, agentic architecture, and machine learning.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and partnering with senior executives.
- Commitment to responsible AI practices including data privacy and bias mitigation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, AI, engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to define AI-native vision, operating model, and 2027 roadmap.
- Build, lead, and develop the team across Machine Learning Engineering and AI Engineering.
- Establish clear ROI-based goals, accountability, and technical standards.
- Clarify intake requests, prioritization, and governance guardrails for AI tools and agents.
- Guide development of physics-based models for reliability intelligence and anomaly detection.
- Ensure production ML systems are monitored and operationally reliable.
- Maintain clear narratives on AI priorities and tradeoffs for the CEO and board.
