Requirements
- 1-2 years of related job experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Must be able to maintain a quiet, interruption-free workspace.
- Must have a strong internet connection.
- Must be able to work 8-hour shifts up to 01:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.
- Successfully complete SOSi-provided Day Zero training.
- Successfully complete FEMA-provided Registration Intake and Helpline training.
- Ability to pass a USG background investigation.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls during periods of FEMA surge disaster activity.
- Perform data entry for individuals and businesses into the government's computerized database.
- Execute call center supported registration processes.
- Provide applicable referrals to survivors.
- Address follow-up questions from survivors.
- Participate in required training sessions, including Day Zero, Customer Registration Intake, and Customer Helpline training.
