Requirements

  • Must be able to maintain a quiet, interruption-free workspace.
  • Must have a strong internet connection.
  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts up to 01:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.
  • Successfully complete SOSi-provided Day Zero training.
  • Successfully complete FEMA-provided Registration Intake and Helpline training.
  • Ability to pass a USG background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls during periods of FEMA surge disaster activity.
  • Perform data entry for individuals and businesses into the government's computerized database.
  • Execute call center supported registration processes.
  • Provide applicable referrals to survivors.
  • Address follow-up questions from survivors.
  • Participate in required training sessions, including Day Zero, Customer Registration Intake, and Customer Helpline training.
