Requirements

  • Active Life and Health insurance license.
  • Current AHIP certification.
  • High School degree minimum.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Windows-based applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
  • Highly dependable and self-motivated.
  • Ability to ask probing questions to obtain necessary information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support by creating timely illustrations and preparing point of sale documents.
  • Manage state-specific and compliance forms for insurance clients.
  • Serve as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients.
  • Handle outbound and inbound calls efficiently.
  • Answer service inquiries and resolve client problems orally, virtually, or in writing.
  • Navigate web-based portals to provide documents to clients.
  • Provide input and support on new products and sales processes.
  • Participate in team and individual meetings.
