Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a broker agency or benefit administration firm.
  • Current Life and Health insurance license.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products.
  • Experience working with clients with 1000+ US employees.
  • Experience with self-funded arrangements, including pharmacy and stop-loss carve-outs.
  • Strong knowledge of the benefits point solution landscape.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work with clients at a strategic level.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with benefit administration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Account Managers and Account Managers in managing an assigned book of business.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients regarding day-to-day service needs and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and verify accuracy of client-facing materials such as plan documents and open enrollment communications.
  • Manage the annual renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of recommendations.
  • Oversee compliance-related tasks including 5500 filings, SPD wrap documents, and CMS reminders.
  • Assist with onboarding new client divisions and coordinating carrier implementations.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide accurate data for benefits administration systems.
  • Maintain client detail updates in CRM (D365).
