Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development and systems integration.
- Strong experience with at least two modern backend technologies such as Ruby, .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, scalable application design, and integration patterns.
- Proven experience working in customer-facing or consulting-oriented roles, including leading technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading technical projects from discovery and solution design through delivery and implementation.
- Experience with Smartsheet integrations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions and integration components using modern backend technologies such as Ruby, .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Architect and implement API-driven integrations between Smartsheet and enterprise third-party platforms.
- Partner directly with customers to lead technical discovery workshops, gather requirements, and define scalable integration architectures aligned with business goals.
- Act as a trusted technical consultant, translating complex business needs into clear technical solutions and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during pre-sales and delivery phases, contributing to solution scoping, technical presentations, documentation, and architectural reviews.
- Drive end-to-end technical initiatives from solution design through implementation and deployment.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
