Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategy.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget administration.
- Strong leadership skills for team development and mentoring.
- Proficiency in project management guidelines and operational KPI monitoring.
- Expertise in healthcare payer business objectives and technology initiatives.
- Critical thinking and problem management skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate IT support for assigned organizational segments.
- Partner with department and system leadership to develop and implement IT strategy.
- Oversee staff to ensure IT project management guidelines and strategies are followed.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, invoicing, and product evaluations.
- Develop and administer departmental IT budgets.
- Lead staff recruitment, development, retention, and disciplinary processes.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs and productivity standards.
