Requirements
- Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT).
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5:30 PM EST or 10 AM-6:30 PM EST.
- Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- Dedicated work space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to offices for training or meetings.
Responsibilities
- Support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing.
- Perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.
- Perform pharmaceutical computations.
- Contact physicians for prescription clarification and enter orders into the system.
- Support Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring adherence to specialty operational processes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers to optimize health outcomes.
