  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing inventory metrics and supply chain performance indicators.
  • Proven experience with supplier negotiations, cost management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, establish accountability, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Must reside full-time in the continental United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of buyers responsible for sourcing finished goods and supporting procurement activities.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring product availability and alignment with business needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, supply risks, shortages, and operational changes while providing accurate reporting and insights.
  • Identify potential supply constraints and implement mitigation strategies to maintain service levels.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives through supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Partner with Planning, Product Development, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve supply chain performance.
  • Improve purchasing processes, systems, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows.
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) purchasing activities for US operations.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
