- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing inventory metrics and supply chain performance indicators.
- Proven experience with supplier negotiations, cost management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams, establish accountability, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Must reside full-time in the continental United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of buyers responsible for sourcing finished goods and supporting procurement activities.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring product availability and alignment with business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, supply risks, shortages, and operational changes while providing accurate reporting and insights.
- Identify potential supply constraints and implement mitigation strategies to maintain service levels.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with suppliers and strategic partners.
- Partner with Planning, Product Development, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve supply chain performance.
- Improve purchasing processes, systems, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) purchasing activities for US operations.
- Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
