Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling or related field (Master's preferred).
- National certification (CRC, CVE, NRC, or CCM) preferred.
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in job placement or employment counseling for individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of the Social Security Ticket to Work Program, including Trial Work Period, Extended Period of Eligibility, and Expedited Reinstatement.
- Strong understanding of the Social Security disability process preferred.
- Knowledge of the ADA and job accommodation processes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical, interpretive, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects under pressure.
- Must pass a federal background check including fingerprinting.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Vocational Case Managers in day-to-day operations to achieve successful return to work results for individuals with disabilities.
- Manage personnel in a remote environment, including training, staffing, coaching, performance management, and quality assurance.
- Use data and metrics to evaluate individual and department performance against KPIs.
- Establish processes and controls to promote work quality and achieve customer service goals.
- Plan and recommend department objectives consistent with Allsup Employment Services goals.
- Evaluate current processes and encourage team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop performance plans and conduct formal and informal employee evaluations.
