Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant tax experience, preferably involving U.S. income tax compliance.
  • Experience preparing or supporting U.S. federal and state tax filings.
  • Proficiency with U.S. income tax software such as OneSource.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge including pivot tables, formulas, and basic reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns, including supporting documentation and working papers.
  • Prepare U.S. federal and state tax extensions, installment calculations, and coordinate payments to tax authorities.
  • Complete U.S. tax compliance filings for foreign entities, including Forms 5471, 5472, and 1120F.
  • Support calculations related to GILTI, FDII, earnings and profits, and other U.S. tax attributes.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions under IFRS, including account reconciliations.
  • Respond to inquiries and correspondence from U.S. tax authorities and assist with tax notices.
  • Support internal teams and business functions with tax-related requests and guidance.
  • Conduct tax research, analysis, and special projects related to U.S. operations.
  • Assist with purchase price allocations and preparation of Forms 8594 and 8883.
  • Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and compliance data.
