Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Over 2 years of relevant tax-related experience.
  • Skilled in US income tax software (OneSource).
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills including intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple filings in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure with concurrent deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and willingness to learn new technology platforms.
  • CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare U.S. Federal and State corporate income tax returns and related working papers.
  • Prepare U.S. Federal and State tax extensions and instalment calculations and coordinate payments.
  • Prepare required U.S. tax compliance forms for foreign entities (e.g., Forms 5471s, 5472s, 1120Fs) and calculations for GILTI and FDII.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual US income tax provision under IFRS and reconcile US income tax accounts.
  • Correspond with U.S. tax authorities and respond to tax notices.
  • Manage internal tax requests and provide consultation to business groups.
  • Perform ad-hoc research and analytics, including Purchase Price Allocations and drafting Forms 8594 and 8883.
