Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with experience developing valuation models and analyzing business cases.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, colleagues, customers, and financial institutions.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • MBA, M.Sc., or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset.
  • Professional certifications such as CBV, CPA, or CFA completed or in progress are considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both French and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze financial models to assess project impacts, business cases, and valuation scenarios.
  • Conduct detailed financial and commercial analysis to identify key drivers, opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
  • Support and coordinate due diligence activities for acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic projects.
  • Review business initiatives by assessing financial, operational, legal, and market considerations.
  • Analyze contractual and financial documentation to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to support global transactions.
  • Prepare presentations and communicate financial insights directly to senior leadership.
  • Partner with business development teams to evaluate opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
