Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience negotiating managed care contracts with physician, hospital, and/or other providers.
- Proficiency in analyzing and communicating financial impact of contract terms and reimbursement rates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.
- Ability to travel up to a minimum of 20%.
- Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
- Dedicated workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, negotiate, and execute dental provider contracts and agreements.
- Communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
- Analyze the financial impact of contracts and terms.
- Maintain contracts and documentation within a tracking system.
- Assist with identifying and recruiting providers based on network needs.
- Meet with dental providers face-to-face to negotiate and resolve issues.
