Requirements

  • Proven track record in Key Account Management or B2B sales, ideally in housing, renewable energy, or SaaS.
  • Experience in scaling and developing a sales team (functional or disciplinary leadership).
  • Strong networking skills with experience in association work and engaging decision-makers.
  • Analytical ability to use CRM data, KPIs, and processes to optimize sales pipelines.
  • Hands-on, flexible mindset suitable for a dynamic scale-up environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, capable of discussing complex or regulatory topics.
  • University degree (e.g., Business, Engineering) or comparable professional qualification.
  • Native-level German (negotiation-proof); English language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the Key Account team while balancing strategic leadership with operative sales.
  • Drive active acquisition of new strategic major clients and manage systematic portfolio development (cross-selling/upselling).
  • Act as a player-coach by managing key accounts and driving top-level deals personally.
  • Develop customized solutions and concepts in collaboration with the team.
  • Expand network among associations, multipliers, and partners in the housing industry.
  • Define and refine key account strategy and optimize pipeline through data and KPI analysis.
  • Serve as the cross-departmental interface to Marketing and Product teams to influence product development based on customer feedback.
  • Establish a training and feedback culture to prepare the team for growth.
