Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing quality management, ideally within consumer goods, home products, or retail industries.
- Strong experience managing quality processes in manufacturing environments and working directly with factories or suppliers.
- Solid understanding of quality control methodologies, inspection processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop effective corrective actions in production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with global supply chains and international manufacturing partners is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality operations across manufacturing partners, overseeing inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods for home product categories.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and expectations across factories to ensure consistent product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with manufacturing teams and suppliers to improve quality control practices, support production qualification processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints, production defects, and non-conforming materials, through structured problem-solving approaches.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring quality challenges.
- Review and evaluate factory quality performance through audits, inspection reports, and quality metrics.
- Ensure manufacturing partners maintain accurate documentation, inspection records, test results, and compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and supplier performance.
- Provide guidance and expertise to factory quality teams, helping strengthen quality capabilities across the supply chain.
