Requirements
- 8+ years of professional work experience.
- Proven experience in optimizing AI systems using machine learning and systems techniques.
- Experience and passion for harnessing generative AI, particularly for agents and coding.
- Deep experience with concurrent programming (mutexes, atomics, and concurrency primitives).
- Fluency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, Go).
- Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for publicly-available libraries or modules.
- Strong technical communication skills in English.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience writing production-grade software.
- Strong sense of taste in code and software development practices.
- Understanding of how to use AI to improve quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic coding systems that deliver high-quality outputs.
- Optimize AI agents for token spend and response time while maintaining quality.
- Develop a deep understanding of AI application development patterns and techniques.
- Take end-to-end ownership of new features, ensuring reliability and developer experience.
- Serve as a domain expert on AI design patterns, providing best-practices and examples.
- Collaborate with the developer community to debug issues and gather feedback.
- Write public technical documentation describing Temporal concepts and APIs.
