Requirements
- Active nursing license or professional registration within the applicable Canadian jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing, clinical services, patient support, or care coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, clinical practice, health sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience providing direct patient care in clinical or community settings.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, healthcare documentation, and patient safety principles.
- Experience supporting infusion therapies or pharmaceutical patient programs is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Certifications in care coordination, case management, or healthcare quality are assets.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications through IM, SC, and IV routes in homecare and specialty clinic settings.
- Monitor infusion treatments to ensure patient safety before, during, and after administration.
- Complete clinical documentation and treatment records according to professional standards.
- Provide patient and caregiver education individually or in group settings.
- Monitor and report adverse events and product-related concerns.
- Coordinate with patients, physicians, and case managers to ensure timely treatment delivery.
- Perform clinic audits, supply management, and operational reporting.
- Travel within assigned regions to meet operational needs.
