Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with at least two additional languages/frameworks like Go, Python, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR standards, resources, profiles, and implementation guides.
- Experience building or integrating RESTful APIs based on FHIR specifications.
- Knowledge of FHIR R4 and healthcare interoperability patterns.
- Experience working with FHIR servers such as HAPI FHIR.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Strong relational database experience, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions supporting healthcare interoperability, reporting, and quality measurement initiatives.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs aligned with HL7 FHIR specifications.
- Develop and work with FHIR resources including Measure, MeasureReport, Patient, and Encounter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable healthcare technology platforms.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, performance, and security testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve automated testing processes for production releases.
- Participate in Agile development and support compliance with healthcare regulations and government standards.
