Requirements

  • 6 years of program or project management experience, ideally within technical or engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to scale program management practices with specific examples of efficiency gains.
  • Deep fluency with Jira and Confluence, including epic/project structure, JQL, and dashboards.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting project briefs, executive updates, and status reports.
  • Ability to work effectively without complete information and exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to push back constructively on scope creep or at-risk commitments.
  • Experience working in a remote-first organizational environment.
  • First-principles approach to work with a focus on core goals rather than tooling.
  • Strong integrity in reporting project progress and risks.
  • Ownership mindset and emotional maturity in delivering feedback and managing project challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Apply a single operating standard across all security projects, driving hygiene including ownership, dates, scope, and status.
  • Manage the intake and triage for security requests via Slack, tickets, and direct asks, training AI classification systems.
  • Produce and edit project-level and program-level status reports, including weekly operating reviews and quarterly roadmap progress.
  • Maintain team capacity models and project commitments, surfacing risks of overcommitment or slippage to leadership.
  • Inventory and measure interruption work to identify and propose projects that reduce unplanned tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Prioritize work based on impact, urgency, and capacity while applying strategic judgment.
  • Partner with the AI engineering function as an internal customer to shape program management capability systems.
  • Represent security program management practices to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
