Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant business analysis experience.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare insurance domains: Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, ACA, or commercial health plans.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with healthcare administration functions like claims adjudication, enrollment, provider management, payments, and authorizations.
- Experience mapping healthcare EDI transactions (837, 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278).
- Ability to analyze EDI implementation guides and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in documenting workflows, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Lead business requirement discussions with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to define objectives.
- Manage end-to-end requirements activities to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Develop functional requirements for core administration domains including claims, enrollment, provider management, and payments.
- Design solutions and recommend process improvements using workflow and system context diagrams.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and refine user stories and conduct requirement walkthroughs.
- Support Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, and go-live activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and reusable solution components.
- Contribute to the development and testing lifecycle, including MVP demonstrations.
