Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience building or supporting CI/CD systems and developer productivity platforms at scale.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and system reliability principles.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python and modern engineering tools.
- Experience with cloud environments and cloud-native concepts.
- Experience developing for macOS or iOS platforms.
- Experience with observability tools, telemetry systems, and performance optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing 24/7 coverage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions that scale across multiple services and platforms.
- Define technical direction for the macOS platform and drive architecture decisions from concept through implementation.
- Build and improve CI/CD workflows, automation pipelines, and developer infrastructure.
- Design and implement APIs and platform capabilities that enable seamless integration between software components.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in operational excellence initiatives, including incident response, observability improvements, and on-call rotations.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to align technical solutions with business priorities.
