Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
- Strong production experience with Scala.
- Experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Proven experience designing robust backend systems and distributed architectures.
- Advanced experience using AI coding agents, including effective prompting and critical review of outputs.
- Ability to identify security, performance, and architectural risks in AI-assisted development.
- Strong builder mindset and passion for writing code.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality backend code and take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Guide the technical direction of the team using modern technologies such as Scala, Python, and TypeScript.
- Design and maintain scalable SaaS architectures built for cloud environments and multi-tenant platforms.
- Use AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow to increase engineering efficiency.
- Own the full lifecycle of team features, from design through production deployment.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Mentor and support engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Monitor production health and ensure systems remain reliable, secure, and efficient.
