Requirements

- Proven track record of independently delivering complex software systems.
- Strong judgment in evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and leveraging existing platforms.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools in production environments.
- Experience building and maintaining production web applications.
- Experience with modern application frameworks such as Laravel.
- Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing frameworks like PostHog.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure including AWS and Cloudflare.
- Strong relational database skills including query optimization.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across a distributed organization.
Responsibilities
- Apply AI-assisted development practices to prototype, validate, and ship production-ready solutions.
- Identify business opportunities across software, automation, and data.
- Own solutions end-to-end from discovery and scoping through architecture, implementation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define solutions, communicate trade-offs, and measure outcomes.
- Design and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, and internal tools.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, observability, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers.
