Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in video content operations, broadcast operations, streaming media, or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting live broadcast environments, including switching, routing, and signal path design.
- Knowledge of broadcast contribution/distribution standards like SMPTE ST 2110/2022, SCTE-35, and closed captioning.
- Proficiency with streaming platform fundamentals (RTMP, SRT, RIST, HLS, DASH, CDN delivery).
- Experience managing technical projects across multiple teams and priorities.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional team environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key technical point of contact for vendor engagement, live event support, and operational execution.
- Support and enable vendor teams through guidance, training, and operational support.
- Monitor live broadcasts in real-time, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate technical resolutions.
- Design and document media workflow architectures, including signal paths and distribution processes.
- Validate streaming workflows, including ingest configurations, encoding, transcoding, and quality assurance.
- Manage technical projects from initiation through completion, defining scope, timelines, and risks.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Production teams to drive alignment and resolve execution challenges.
