Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional B2B outside sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Sales preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong consultative selling expertise across short and long sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with mid- to senior-level contacts.
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent time management and self-directed work habits.
- Must be located in Chicago, IL or Tampa, FL.
- Available for approximately 20% travel to stores and customers within the assigned district.
- Experience with CRM software like Salesforce is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business prospects within SMB to mid-market segments.
- Execute direct outreach and cold calling to develop relationships with decision makers.
- Generate sales quotes and lead presentations tailored to customer business needs.
- Collaborate with store teams and cross-functional partners to drive retail traffic and project sales.
- Coach store associates on lead identification and submission processes.
- Manage and maintain customer pipelines and records within Salesforce.
