Requirements
- Advanced Degree (no experience required) or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of hands-on technical experience.
- Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field.
- Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with component-level diagnostic ability.
- Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in laboratory environments.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong problem-solving and independent working capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex analytical and scientific instruments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to research, industrial, and healthcare clients.
- Diagnose issues down to the component level using strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Train and support customers on proper equipment operation.
- Document service activities and prepare detailed reports accurately.
- Respond to customer needs with short notice.
- Travel up to 50-75% within the assigned territory.
